Girls Weekend

April 23rd...

so this past weekend Charity came to visit.... An old friend who spent some time in the army in North Carolina and has stayed there since she got out of the army... so Diana, Angie and I planned a girls weekend. We went to Herman, MO... old German river town with a few wineries and lots of antiques. We stayed the night in a motel and then the boys joined us on Sunday for a Rock band party... well I forgot the camera while in Herman but Edgar brought it Sunday. So the pictures are og the fun we had at Angie's house. Good food and good friends what more could a girl want?

Nap time

This is the house that Edgar built. I get to be the painter.... I need some color suggestions please. So (the dog) is not a big fan of the house yet... but I say give him one good being stuck out in the rain and he will become a much bigger fan of the house... and he will like it better when it gets painted. and I carpet the darn thing with weather resistant and dog resistant rubber mat. A guy at work has some left over shingles from a roofing project that I can have and this dog house will be laid out. Its raining now... so no painting until later....boo hoo.
Any thoughts about cardinal red?

Edgar decided he needed to take a nap before doing his homework... so more time for me to blog....Ya!! Above is my newest big purchase that wiped clean the back account. I really enjoyed it for one day, then the cold weather settled back in; right now it feels like it is cold enough to snow.

something smells fishy

This was from Saturday... We went fishing.... okay it was cold so I went to a flea market while Edgar and his son Tim fished. they had great luck... 15 fish. I had a little luck a cool new bag... USA style and some hair scunchies. The best part was eating them st. louis style. fried with pickles and onion. It was soooo good. Sunday was the best lazy day ever we just relaxed it was great. Rainy and calm.

On a little sadder note. I had a few patients pass away this week. Belinda, Wyatt, and Gabriel. If you are so inclinded a little prayer for the families would be greatly appriciated. Even if you know it is comming it never makes it easy.
